I imagine you have already gone to the location where you purchased these. They should be able to help.
If not please check the following if you haven't done so already:. . . . . .The C-500 is bi-wired. There are two sets of input connectors on the rear. There should be two metal brackets between the upper and lower sets. Please ensure that these are there and are tight. If they are there,tightened and still have nothing then remove both of them and try connecting to the upper binding posts only, those are for the tweeter. If you have no sound then the tweeter is likely defective. You can remove the tweeter with a 3mm hex key. Check the wiring when removing the tweeter. Tape the wires to the front or they'll fall inside! If you have an ohmeter / multimeter you can check the tweeter's voice coil resistance. A good tweeter should read about 3.5Ω.
If you still have no sound then you should look in your area for an authorized service depot. I think there is a part number on the tweeter to refer to.
