I have blown the woofers in my Energy 22s (apparently the drivers are dead?) so only getting sound out of the tweeters.
Not sure which version of 22s they are, wood grain cabinet, cloth tweeter?, 8 inch woofer, red Energy badge.
I'm in New Zealand so don't have access to recommended API repair places.
What make/model/type woofer should I get as replacement?
Playing mostly movies and CDs attached to Nakamichi AV-1 receiver, with Energy centre and SpeakerCraft
in-celing satellites. May upgrade to new Pioneer receiver and add a powered sub-woofer at some stage (haven't
bothered with a sub previously as the 22s have such a good bottom end, maybe that's why they blew up!).
Appreciate any advice you might have.
