    subwoofer set-up

Hi, i currently have an Onkyo TX-SR805 receiver with a c-100 center speaker, C-300 left and right channels and take-5 in the back for the rear channels. I'm at a loss on how to set the dials on my subwoofer, it's a S10.3.

    can anyone advise please?

    thanks Rob

Run an RCA line from the sub-out on your Onkyo to the line-in on the sub.  Set the sub to auto.  Turn the crossover up all the way (you don't want it working).  Set the phase in the middle.  Run your receiver's setup (Audyssey 2EQ? yes?).  Should be all you need really.

    Hi Rob,

Be sure to set the Crossover Mode swithc to B (By-Pass).  This will by-pass the built-in crossover and allow your Onkyo to control the cutoff frequqnecy.

    Thanks for choosing Energy.
